P144 Armory is a veteran-owned shop in San Antonio, built on more than 15 years of combined experience behind the counter. We've spent that time learning what works, what doesn't, and what people actually need when they walk through the door. We decided to open our own shop to finally do it the right way.
The name comes from Psalm 144:1, "Praise be to the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle." That verse found us during a Bible study years back, and it stuck. It turned a friendship into something closer to family, and it became the foundation for everything we're building. We're not here to preach. We're here to serve our community and sell firearms the honest way. But the values behind that verse shape how we treat every single person who comes to us.
We're San Antonio people. Together we were not only born and raised in San Antonio, but we come from military families and always made our way back home. One of our founders served nearly a decade in the Army as a combat medic, so looking after people is second nature to us. Add local roots and years spent behind the counter, and you've got who we are.
Here's what makes us different. We listen first. If you walk in knowing exactly what you want, great, we'll get you squared away. If you walk in knowing nothing, that's just as great. We were all there once, and nobody here will ever make you feel small for asking. First handgun or your fortieth, you get the same straight answers. We will take your budget and direct you down the correct path. We are people who genuinely care and want to educate. If we ever sense you're not ready to buy today, we won't push a sale on you. We'll point you toward the right education instead. We're the shop we always wished we'd walked into.
We're built to serve everyone exercising their rights, and we're here to help you do it responsibly. That means new shooters, competitors, hunters, concealed carriers, and especially women and first-time buyers who deserve a place that takes its time with them. Whoever you are, you've got a seat at our counter.
We also do a lot more than sell firearms. We handle transfers, trades, and selective consignment. We build custom Level 1 and Level 2 Kydex holsters as well as custom knife sheaths in house. These are made for your specific setup. We offer License to Carry courses both in person and online, along with optic mounting and boresighting, ultrasonic cleaning, and secure storage. For advanced work like Cerakote, milling, and engraving, we partner with a licensed gunsmith to get it done right. And through our partnership with U.S. LawShield, you'll have real legal protection standing behind your right to defend yourself.
