Private Firearm Lessons

P144 Armory offers private firearm lessons through our partner instructor for students who want focused training based on their current skill level, goals, and experience.

Private instruction works for all kinds of students: new handgun owners, people preparing for the Texas License to Carry proficiency qualification, shooters looking to improve accuracy, and those building more advanced skills. You get a more personalized training experience than a standard group class.

Personalized Training Based on Your Goals

Every student is different. Some people need help becoming more comfortable with their handgun. Others want to improve accuracy, work from a holster, practice reloads, or begin learning more advanced shooting concepts.

Private lessons may include:

  • Firearm safety and safe handling
  • Safe operation of your handgun
  • Grip, stance, sight alignment, and trigger control
  • Fundamentals of marksmanship
  • Accuracy and aim practice
  • Drawing from a holster
  • Reloading practice
  • Movement-based shooting
  • Defensive handgun skill development
  • LTC proficiency preparation
  • More advanced drills based on experience level

The exact lesson plan will depend on the student's goals, skill level, and the type of training requested.

Please contact P144 Armory with your training goals, experience level, and preferred schedule so we can help coordinate the right lesson with our partner instructor.

Important Notes

Private lessons are designed to help students build safer, more confident firearm handling and shooting skills.

Students should be honest about their experience level so the instructor can structure the lesson properly. If you are brand new, that is okay. If you are looking for more advanced training, the instructor can discuss what options are appropriate based on your current skill level and goals.

Scheduling, pricing, and lesson structure will be confirmed before the session.
