In-Person Texas License to Carry Class

Complete the required classroom instruction, written exam, and range proficiency qualification for the Texas License to Carry process.

The class begins with the range qualification at 9:00 AM at Kitty Hawk Flying Field, followed by the classroom portion at P144 Armory.

Class Price: $90

Students must bring:

• Valid government-issued photo ID
• Safe, serviceable handgun
• Eye and ear protection
• Closed-toe shoes
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• At least 50 rounds of ammunition; 100 rounds recommended

The range qualification is pass/fail. This is not a beginner handgun course. Students must already be able to safely handle, load, unload, and fire their handgun.

Firearm rentals are available for an additional $50, including the rental firearm and qualification ammunition. Students needing a rental must notify the instructor in advance.

Refunds are available when cancellation is made at least 72 hours before the class.
