Return & Refund Policy
P144 Armory is located in San Antonio, Texas. Due to the regulated nature of firearms, ammunition, and related products, all returns are subject to this policy, applicable law, manufacturer warranty terms, and approval by P144 Armory.
By purchasing from P144 Armory online or in store, you agree to the terms below.
General Return Policy
P144 Armory reserves the right to approve, deny, limit, or refuse any return, refund, exchange, or cancellation at our discretion.
Returned items must be in new, unused, uninstalled, unmodified condition, in the original packaging, with all included parts, manuals, accessories, and proof of purchase.
Items that are used, installed, damaged, altered, missing packaging, missing parts, or not purchased from P144 Armory are not eligible for return.
Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount unless waived by P144 Armory at its discretion.
Shipping charges, transfer fees, processing fees, and other costs incurred in connection with an order are generally non-refundable unless otherwise approved by P144 Armory or required by law.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method when possible. Processing times may vary depending on the payment processor and financial institution.
Firearms, Frames, Receivers, and Serialized Items
All firearm sales are final once the firearm has been shipped, transferred, or legally transferred to the customer.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Handguns
- Rifles
- Shotguns
- Frames
- Receivers
- Lower receivers
- Other serialized firearm components
Customers should inspect all firearms carefully before accepting transfer from the receiving FFL. Once the transfer is completed, the firearm is considered accepted by the customer and is not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
If there is an issue with a firearm before the transfer is completed, contact P144 Armory and the receiving FFL immediately.
Online Firearm Orders and FFL Transfers
Firearms purchased online must be shipped to a valid Federal Firearms Licensee, also known as an FFL dealer, for transfer.
If a firearm order is canceled, refused, denied, abandoned, or cannot be completed for any reason after processing or shipment, any approved refund will be subject to a 15% restocking fee unless waived by P144 Armory at its discretion.
The customer may also be responsible for all related costs, including original shipping, return shipping, carrier fees, distributor fees, transfer fees, and other processing or administrative costs associated with the order or return.
P144 Armory is not responsible for background check delays, denials, failed transfers, refusal by the receiving FFL dealer, customer ineligibility, or the customer's failure to complete the transfer.
Any refund, if approved, will only be processed after the firearm is returned to P144 Armory or the appropriate distributor, inspected, and verified.
Background Check Delays, Denials, or Failed Transfers
P144 Armory is not responsible for background check results, delays, denials, or other decisions made by NICS, law enforcement, state agencies, or the receiving FFL dealer.
If a firearm transfer cannot be completed due to a delay, denial, failed background check, legal ineligibility, refusal, or abandonment, the sale may be canceled at P144 Armory's discretion.
If a refund is approved, a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund unless waived by P144 Armory at its discretion.
All shipping charges, transfer fees, distributor fees, processing fees, return shipping costs, and other related costs are non-refundable unless otherwise approved by P144 Armory or required by law.
Ammunition
All ammunition sales are final.
For safety and compliance reasons, ammunition cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged once it leaves our possession or has been shipped.
Magazines and Restricted Items
All magazine sales and restricted item sales are final unless otherwise approved by P144 Armory.
Customers are responsible for knowing whether magazines, firearm parts, accessories, or other regulated items are legal in their city, county, and state before purchasing.
Orders containing restricted items may be canceled if P144 Armory determines the item cannot be legally shipped or transferred.
If an order is canceled because the customer ordered an item that cannot legally be shipped, possessed, or transferred to them, any approved refund may be subject to the 15% restocking fee and any non-refundable shipping, distributor, processing, or related costs.
Optics, Accessories, Parts, Apparel, and Non-Serialized Items
Non-firearm items may be eligible for return within 30 days of purchase or delivery if approved by P144 Armory.
Eligible items must be new, unused, uninstalled, unmodified, and in the original packaging with all included parts and proof of purchase.
Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee unless waived by P144 Armory at its discretion.
The following items are not eligible for return once used, installed, mounted, modified, worn, damaged, or removed from original condition:
- Optics
- Lights
- Lasers
- Holsters
- Firearm parts
- Cleaning supplies
- Range gear
- Apparel
- Accessories
- Other non-serialized merchandise
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error by P144 Armory or otherwise approved.
Special Orders
All special-order items are final sale unless otherwise approved in writing by P144 Armory.
This includes special-order firearms, accessories, optics, parts, limited-availability items, distributor-direct items, and items ordered specifically for a customer.
If P144 Armory approves the cancellation or return of a special-order item, the refund will be subject to a 15% restocking fee unless waived by P144 Armory at its discretion. Distributor fees, shipping charges, return shipping, and other costs associated with the special order may also be deducted from the refund.
NFA Items and Suppressors
All NFA items, including suppressors, short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, and other regulated NFA products, are final sale unless otherwise required by law.
NFA items are subject to additional federal, state, and local requirements. Returns, cancellations, or refunds involving NFA items may be subject to processing fees, transfer fees, tax stamp issues, ATF processing status, and other legal or administrative restrictions.
If a return or cancellation is approved, a 15% restocking fee may be deducted from the refund in addition to any other applicable non-refundable costs, unless waived by P144 Armory.
Manufacturer Defects and Warranty Claims
Most product defects are handled through the manufacturer's warranty.
Firearms, optics, accessories, and other products with manufacturing defects are generally not eligible for return or refund through P144 Armory once transferred, used, installed, or accepted by the customer.
P144 Armory may assist customers with manufacturer warranty contact information or claim coordination at our discretion, but warranty coverage, repair, replacement, or approval is determined by the manufacturer.
A restocking fee will generally not apply when P144 Armory determines that a return is necessary because P144 Armory shipped or provided the incorrect product or otherwise made an error in fulfilling the order.
Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an incorrect, damaged, or missing non-firearm item, contact P144 Armory within 48 hours of delivery.
Please provide your order information, a description of the issue, and photos if applicable.
P144 Armory will review the issue and determine whether repair, replacement, refund, store credit, or another resolution is appropriate.
Do not discard packaging or shipping materials until the issue has been reviewed.
If P144 Armory determines that the issue resulted from an error by P144 Armory or damage occurring before delivery, the 15% restocking fee may be waived.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error by P144 Armory.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless otherwise approved.
P144 Armory is not responsible for return packages that are lost, damaged, delayed, or shipped without approval. We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method for approved returns.
Items returned without prior approval may be refused, returned to the customer at the customer's expense, or denied.
Restocking Fees
Unless otherwise stated in this policy, approved returns and approved cancellations are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
The restocking fee is calculated based on the purchase price of the item being returned or canceled and will be deducted from the amount otherwise eligible for refund.
The 15% restocking fee applies to both online and in-store purchases unless waived by P144 Armory at its discretion.
The restocking fee helps offset costs associated with payment processing, refund processing, administrative handling, inspection, repackaging, inventory adjustments, and the potential reduction in resale value of returned merchandise.
The restocking fee does not include other non-refundable costs that may apply, including original shipping, return shipping, distributor fees, carrier fees, transfer fees, or other costs incurred as a result of the order, cancellation, return, or failed transfer.
P144 Armory may waive or reduce the restocking fee at its discretion, including when a return results from an error by P144 Armory.
Order Cancellations
Orders may only be canceled before processing, shipment, distributor fulfillment, transfer, or special-order placement.
Once an order has been processed, shipped, transferred, submitted to a distributor, or special ordered, cancellation may not be available.
If cancellation is approved after processing has begun, the refund will be subject to a 15% restocking fee unless waived by P144 Armory at its discretion.
The customer may also be responsible for any non-refundable payment processing costs, shipping costs, return shipping, distributor fees, transfer fees, carrier fees, or other costs incurred as a result of the cancellation.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Customers agree to contact P144 Armory directly to attempt to resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
Chargebacks filed without first attempting to resolve the issue directly with P144 Armory may result in refusal of future service and collection or recovery action where permitted by law.
Nothing in this section limits any rights a customer may have under applicable law or the rules of their payment card issuer or financial institution.
Final Decision
P144 Armory reserves the right to make the final decision on all returns, refunds, exchanges, cancellations, restocking fees, and warranty-related assistance, subject to applicable law.
P144 Armory may waive or reduce any restocking fee or other fee at its discretion.
If any part of this policy conflicts with applicable law, applicable law will control.
